Tolerance control of CNC aluminum anodized parts
February 04, 2022
Aluminum motor housing. Due to the need to install bearings, it is required to have a fit tolerance within 1μ, which most factories can achieve. However, if the product needs to be used after oxidation, it is necessary to ensure that the inner hole tolerance is also controlled within 1μ, which poses a challenge for processing factories. As a professional CNC machining factory, we believe that in order to control the tolerance of the inner hole stably, we need to pay attention to the following points:
1) According to the different surface treatment methods of customer products, we will adjust the tolerance: for ordinary oxidation, we will reduce the inner hole; Hard oxidation, we will enlarge the inner hole. This is a great test of the practical experience of CNC processing plants.
2) The benchmark size of precision parts, namely the clamping method, is also very particular, mainly to ensure the stability of the precision hole size.
3) Regarding the control of the oxidation plant itself, even if we control the accuracy of CNC processing, if the conditions or time control during the oxidation process are not well done, it will still affect the quality of the final product.
